The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Kayole is investigating the death of a middle-aged man who died during an intimate session with his girlfriend.

According to a police report filed at the Soweto Police Station in Nairobi, the deceased, Fredrick Kyalo Mwilu, 44, had visited his girlfriend Miriam Wangare Githuka, 36, at her rented house.

In the bizarre incident that occurred on Thursday at around 11 am in Soweto-Nyando area, the deceased allegedly got into an hour-long intimate session with Githuka, before collapsing.

“In that process as they were on the act the boyfriend made a sharp sound and collapsed prompting her to seek help,” the report reads.

Man Down!

Githuka immediately called a taxi driver, identified as Mutai Mukua, who assisted her to rush her unconscious boyfriend to Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital.

Upon arrival at the hospital, medical personnel who rushed to offer medical assistance declared him dead on arrival.

Soweto station Commanding Officer and Kayole DCI scanned the crime scene and the body of the deceased, and found no visible injuries on him.

However, the detectives said that investigations into the case had been launched.

Meanwhile, the body of the deceased was taken to the hospital’s mortuary, awaiting postmortem.
