REVEALED: The flashy lifestyle of American woman behind ‘Amazon Web Worker’ scam

Stacey Marie Parker, woman suspected of defrauding Kenyans of millions of shillings in a fraudulent scheme known as ‘Amazon Web Worker’, is set to appear in court today.

Parker, 50, is expected to be charged with money laundering, computer fraud and obtaining money by false pretense.

In a well-coordinated and orchestrated scheme, the DCI says Parker duped investors into investing their money in an online app known as Amazon Web Worker, on the premise that they would earn huge profits of up to 38% for a deposit lasting only seven days.

It appears that the mother of two, who is married to Everard Jimmy Blake, is a larger than life, obsessed with travelling to each and every corner of the world.

In one of her posts on Facebook, Parker says “The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.”

If photos and updates in her Facebook account are anything to go by, Parker leads a jet-set lifestyle. In the last three years for instance, she has been to France, South Africa and Kenya.

She also loves sports. She rarely misses football matches especially when they take place within Texas City.

Parker, who holds a masters of Arts in Counseling and a bachelor’s of Science in Psychology, was featured in Top 30 Influential Woman of Houston.

Upon her arrest, DCI detectives say their investigations had revealed that Parker had pay-bill accounts in her name that had a balance of KSh50 million.

Married on December 3, 1993, Parker- who works as a full-time counsellor dealing with mental health in Houston says she is dedicated to her professional life of helping and supporting those in need.

“Working with people with mental illness is what Blake had always dreamed of doing, and she can undoubtedly say, she has never regretted the decision to follow her dream.

Looking back on her career from time to time, she acknowledges how blessed she is to be able to work in her field of study,” an article written by the Top 30 magazine describes her.
