A Form Two student at Kibera Secondary School has been arrested for allegedly killing his friend.
The suspect, 15, is accused of stabbing his 19-year-old friend to death following a row over an external storage device in Gatekwera area within Kibera. The two reportedly disagreed over the ownership of the flash disk.
Sarang’ombe area chief Edwin Otwori, confirming the incident, said that the accused picked a kitchen knife and attacked the deceased. “He then surrendered to Kibera DC police officers on Sunday evening after committing the act.”
The suspect is in lawful custody at the Kilimani Police Station pending arraignment today (Monday, June 14).
Irate residents reportedly attacked the mother and torched their house. She was rescued.
