A girl who went missing from her grandmother’s place in Namanga two months ago has been found dead at a bush in Maili Tisa, Kajiado County.
11-year-old Priscilla Naserian’s decomposing body was reportedly found by her uncle James Kaage, as he allegedly went to harvest honey.

Having vanished on April 14, 2021, Kaage reportedly spotted her by the contents she had been carrying on the day she went missing- a basket.
“It [the basket] had her pair of shoes, traditional Maasai beads and a bottle of milk,” Kaage said.
A few metres from the items is where the body was spotted; a skull, limbs and bones, which the family said could be Naserian’s.
Kajiado Central Sub-County Police Commander Daudi Loronyokwe said investigations into her disappearance and mysterious death had been launched.
He revealed that the girl was returning home from her grandmother’s place when she mysteriously went missing.
Samson Ole Mwanana, one of the neighbours, revealed that the deceased’s family had been tirelessly looking for her. At some point, the search that crossed into the neighbouring Tanzania.
The deceased’s mother Sylvia Koina maintained that her daughter was acquainted with the route to her grandmother’s place and back. “I used to send her to her grandmother’s place often,” she said.
The family had filed a missing person’s report at the Namanga Police Station.
“My hopes of finding her alive dwindled when I was informed a basket resembling hers was found ‘near remains of a human being,” the dejected mother said.
Nyumba Kumi Initiative official Dickson Ole Kisa suspects the deceased was abducted, defiled then killed.
Area Chief Robert Lois urged parents in the area to be sharp-eyed, as cases of child abduction are on the rise.
The deceased’s remains were taken to Kajiado County Referral Hospital morgue.
