Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika and her Tanzanian husband, singer Brown Mauzo, are expecting their first child.
Announcing the news that will get many Kenyans by surprise, an excited Vera said that she and her husband have waited for sometime to share the lovely news.
“16.06.2021 …An adventure is about to begin…I love you so much my Husband Brown Mauzo.” Vera wrote on her Instagram page while embracing her baby bump.
Vera dismisses Otile Brown’s wild accusations
The socialite-cum-businesswoman got married to the Tanzanian crooner in October 2020, and in March, she dismissed rumours by her fans that she was expectant. “I don’t understand. Y’all say I’m pregnant every year. Sijui ni air pregnancy coz by now I should be having like four kids for the four years of rumours,” she said back then.
Back when the socialite was ending her relationship with Kenyan independent R&B singer and songwriter Otile Brown, he accused Vera of aborting his child.
She shut down the accusations by saying that she uses protection.
“People have this narrative that I’m a bad b***h and should be having like 10 kids with different baby daddies by now,” she said. “Let me tell you a secret: most bad girls are the most careful ones. Can’t just go around having babies with everyone. I have never gotten pregnant coz I always protect it. But the day I do, it’s because I am ready at that time and want it.”
Vera says she has no morning sickness
The mum-to-be explained on her Instagram story that she has had a stress free pregnancy.
“No morning sickness, no symptoms pregnancy. God is good. I cook, eat everything, can jump, run maybe even somersault. No nothing,” she said.
“Not even a slight headache or nausea. The only symptom I had is a missed period. Sometimes I would be super amazed that we would go for ultrasounds with bae just to see our baby and make sure he/she is good.”
