Denmark has joined Belgium in the Euro 2020 round of 16 after an emphatic 4-1 victory over Russia.
Having collected just one point in their previous two matches, the Danes needed a win to make it through in Group B. Mikkel Damsgaard set the stage alight in Copenhagen with an exquisite long-range opener before Yussuf Poulsen doubled the lead.
Russia pulled one back through 32-year-old Artem Dzyuba but Denmark secured a thrilling victory late on thanks to goals from Andreas Christensen and Joakim Maehle. The victory sparked jubilant scenes in the Danish capital, and set up the stage for a showdown with Wales in Amsterdam on Saturday.
Denmark now joins 10 other nations that have already qualified for the round of 16: Italy, Wales, Belgium, Austria, Netherlands, England, Czech Republic, Sweden, France and Switzerland.
The round of 16 matches commence on Saturday, June 26.
