Starehe MP Charles Njagua Kanyi popularly known as ‘Jaguar’ on Monday, June 28 morning underwent successful corrective surgery on his right knee.
The artiste-cum-politician had to undergo an emergency knee surgery at the MP Shah Hospital in Nairobi, after struggling with pains on his left foot for so long.
According to Jaguar’s friend, gospel artiste DK Kwenye Beat, the MP has been struggling with the knee injury from a 2019 accident.
“He underwent surgery today, Monday at around 5a.m at the MP Shah Hospital, his right knee was operated on. He has been experiencing pains on the foot for while now,” DK Kwenye Beat says.
His other friend, secular artiste Gabu, says it was a minor operation and the lawmaker is recuperating.
“We expect him to be out of hospital soon. Doctors have advised that he be put on adequate bed rest for a couple of days so his body may repair and heal. Certainly, he will still be able to deliver his duties for the people of Starehe,” says Gabu.
