On Monday at 4:22pm, two adults checked into room 107, Hotel Dedamax, off Thika Road.
They looked like lovers, the besotted man in maroon pants, a white shirt and a greyish jacket. By his gait- as seen on CCTV footage-, he was the cock of the walk. The woman was in a yellow hoodie. A few hours later, the man would leave in a body bag, headed for General Kago Funeral Home in Thika.
Yesterday, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations issued an alert against the woman who is a police officer. Carol Kangogo has “gone berserk and is on a killing spree,” says the DCI in a statement. “The suspect who is armed and dangerous has been on the run since early yesterday morning, after she killed constable John Ogweno, who was based in Nakuru. We are cautioning members of the public especially men to be on the lookout for the rogue officer, who is luring men to her trap before executing them in cold blood. Let nobody trust her since she is armed and dangerous.”
The sleuths say the suspect is disguising herself by wearing a buibui.
Her latest victim was identified as Peter Ndwiga, 32. He was found lying in a pool of blood on a bed inside the room. His body had a bullet wound in the head. One empty 9mm spent cartilage was found in the room. Car keys with a holder written ‘Toyota Probox KDB 5** U’ were found in his pockets.
According to a report by cops at Murera Police Post, the lady left at around midnight after executing the crime.
