Baringo Governor Stanely Kiptis was among the spectators who were forced to flee after a swarm of bees attacked them during this year’s Rhino Charge.
It all started when one of the speeding cars participating in the Rhino Charge event plunged into a tree that was hoisting a beehive at Sabor in Marigat, causing the bees to unleash terror at spectators.
Governor Kiptis was forced to cut short his live interview to ran for his safety.
The 32nd edition of Rhino Charge was officially flagged off on Saturday (7:30 am), July 17 by Baringo Senator Gideon Moi. It is a sport where cars are driven to places goats would fear to tread… 4x4s climbing boulders and fording rivers, all for charity!
