Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has refuted claims that he met with his ODM counterpart Raila Odinga concerning the National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition.
Speaking on Saturday, July 24 at a funeral in Mwingi Central, Kalonzo dismissed the reports from a section of media that he met Raila in a meeting that was to stop Wiper from pulling out of the almost defunct coalition.
He reiterated that Wiper is very committed to the agenda of officially forming a new political outfit- the One Kenya Alliance (OKA).
Further, Kalonzo said that defeating current Deputy President William Ruto in next year’s presidential race is his top priority, and no one can deter him from pursuing the mission.
According to the former vice president, the Akamba community has been taken for granted since time immemorial.
This community has been under trial, sometimes victimised, marginalised, taken for granted as if we don’t care. I want you to know that we are equal under God,” said Kalonzo, who also ruled out the possibility of supporting DP Ruto presidential ambition in in 2022.
