One of the most crucial moments for students is when choosing a career and university to study in.
Passion, zeal, and zest are some of the factors that set apart success from failure. Reuben Waswa, Director, North Coast Medical Training College (NCMTC) knows this only too well.
He explains that educators should mould these attributes in students. Waswa was a guest on TV47’s Morning Cafe, alongside the college’s Orthopedic and Trauma Medicine Head of Department Enoch Baya.
The duo spoke about the challenging and demanding realm of medical and health science training in Kenya and the opportunities herein.
“There is an existing market and it all depends on how you prepare the students you are teaching. If you prepare them for the local market, they will crowd there,” said Baya.
