- MP Peris Tobiko’s husband sort police intervention to stop the political rally but to no avail.
- He claims that his wife [MP Tobiko] did not consult him on plans to host DP Ruto in his home.
Jackson Kishanto Ole Suuji, the husband to Kajiado East MP Peris Tobiko now says that Deputy President William Ruto and his Tangatanga brigade have trespassed on his farm.
Speaking to the press on Friday morning from Isinya OCPD offices, Ole Suuji claimed that his wife did not inform him that she will be hosting a political rally in his matrimonial home.
According to the visibly angry man, he only knew of the ‘high-profile’ meeting on Thursday evening, calling upon the police to stop the rally.
His efforts to prevent the political rally from happening were futile as security officials said the meeting was legal and disrupting it wouldn’t be a good idea.
“Ingekuwaje kama ningeenda kwake Karen mahali anaishi na bibi yake, ama kule Eldoret? Angesikiaje watu wanaenda kwake na hajaulizwa? I’m hurt, I don’t support what is going on, I don’t support the political activity going on my farm in Kajiado.
“That is my property, my farm, my land, and that is tresspass. My property has been destroyed, my rights have been breached by Samoei Ruto,” he lamented.
Ruto’s rally in Ole Suuji’s farm
During the rally, MP Tobiko expressed her joy in hosting the Tangatanga brigade, urging Kajiado residents to support DP Ruto in his quest to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.
“Your excellency [DP Ruto] hii ni siku mzuri kwangu, nimefurahi sana. Nasema karibu karibu karibu…Karibu kwangu Ilpolosat.”
