An armed group known locally as Al-Shabaab attacked Palma, a town in Mozambique, in March. Amnesty International alleges that the whites were given first priority by the rescue team. There were 220 people working on a nearby gas project, 20 among them were white contractors. They sought refuge at the Amarula Palma Hotel during the attack that started on March 24. Eight petitions have been filed by human rights activists, several organisations, and Kenyans faulting the legality of the Constitutional of Kenya (Amendment) Bill 2020. An out-of-control Chinese rocket that was expected to land on Earth anytime this weekend with everyone clueless about the time or place of its landing has landed in Indian Ocean today. A court in Rwanda has sentenced a former journalist with BBC Kinyarwanda service to 10 years in prison for terrorism charges. Phocas Ndayizera was arrested in 2018 in Nyamirambo sector where he had gone to “receive explosives”, according to reports by Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB) at that time.
